Note from the Artist:

While pregnant with my daughter, I painted a near record breaking number of paintings to crank them out before my life as a stay at home mother began. And I would therefore not be able to paint as much anymore.

'Someone New' was the second to last painting I finished before my daughter made her appearance. I was very much anticipating her arrival at this time.
